The founder

A brief profile of our founder and managing director

Julian Leitner

Grew up with tourism – at home online. As a former managing director of one of the world’s largest online retailers, Julian knows the possibilities that come with data-driven customer relationship management. His extensive knowledge of hotels affords him expert insight to the ins and outs of the industry. At Smart Host, Julian is responsible for sales and customer support.

Our colourful team consists of Sales, Marketing, Customer Success Management, Finance, Office Management, Product Management, Design, IT and General Management.

Smart Host has its location across from the Berliner Museum Island, where it has assembled a team of experts, who have a good measure of professional experience mixed with clear head for new ideas.

Marketing and sales act as the first point of contact with potential customers. Through diverse channels, marketing generates awareness of Smart Host and its product, while Inside Sales reaches out to these potential customers to establish initial contact.
